Where does reality end—and where does the virtual world begin?
In this vibrant, questioning series, Richard explores the increasingly blurred boundaries between our physical lives and the digital dimensions we now inhabit.
Are the games we play simply escapes, or have they become the stage of our reality?
These works—playful, poetic, and sometimes unsettling—examine how technology and social media shape our identity, how we present ourselves, and how we observe others in return.
A solar-powered cap becomes a symbol of endless connectivity. A paper hat or toy elephant becomes a portal into the surreal.
Some figures are wholly absorbed in their screens, lost in curated illusions. Others stand on the edge of both worlds, raising a quiet question:
Are we still in the real world, or just gazing into a beautifully filtered echo of it?
Rather than providing answers, these paintings open a space for reflection and wonder.
What is real, and what is merely a shimmering projection?
